AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Salvation Army is in need of toy donations to fulfill Christmas wishes.

Due to the late Thanksgiving Holiday, the Salvation Army is short about 750 toys this holiday season. They had more than 1700 children on their Angel Tree list this year and are in need of toys especially for children ages 10-12.

If you would like to donate to this cause, they will be accepting toy donations at the Christmas Warehouse at 3132 Wrightsboro Rd. at the old Save-a-lot building Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

They ask that the toys be new and unwrapped. You can also take them to the Kroc Center at 1833 Broad Street.

The Salvation Army is also accepting money donation over the phone at 706-434-3177. All donations must be received by Dec. 19 at 7 p.m
