Runoff election for Augusta Commission District 1 to be held in December

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The voting isn't over yet for some residents of Richmond County.

A runoff between incumbent Matt Aitken and William Fennoy for Augusta Commission District 1 is being held on Dec. 4.

If you were eligible to vote in November, you will be able to vote in the runoff. All 14 polling locations in District 1 will be open on Dec. 4.

Voters can request a mail-out absentee ballot by mail, fax, email or in person. Early voting starts Nov. 19 and ends Nov. 30 at the Board of Elections office (530 Greene Street) from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m, except for the week of the election, when the office will be opened until 6 p.m. Keep in mind that Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 are holidays and the office will be closed.
