GRANITEVILLE, SC (WRDW) -- The Aiken County Sheriff's Office said a suspect is in custody after Connector Road was blocked off Saturday afternoon.

James Earl Shepard allegedly broke into a home on that road with a gun and demanded money and car keys, the Sheriff's Office said. The victim is okay.

They said they believe the suspect started fire, but it is still under investigation.
