AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A Richmond County teacher was arrested on Friday for possession of marijuana of less than an ounce, Richmond County Board of Education Public Safety Chief Alfonzo Williams said.

Christopher Gordon, a teacher at Glenn Hills High School, was arrested on Friday at the campus, Williams said.

The case will be handled internally and the superintendent has the power over administrative punishment, Williams said.
