AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A man is behind bars on drug charges in Richmond County.
Investigators received a complaint from a Division of Family and Children Services worker about narcotics being sold at the 600 block of Debbie Drive in Augusta.
When they arrived at the home, narcotics investigators made contact with the people inside and found Naun Quintana Padilla and his wife.
During an interview with investigators, Padilla said he had approximately 3 ounces of crystal methamphetamine in the home.
During a search, approximately 1,336 grams were found in the master bedroom, which belongs to Padilla. Approximately 10 grams of marijuana and two firearms were also found in the master bedroom.
Padilla claimed ownership of the items that were found.
Padilla was arrested and is charged with one felony count of trafficking methamphetamine, one felony count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana.
He was also wanted in Taliaferro County on outstanding drug charges.
