AUGUSTA Ga. (WRDW) -- One person was injured after a shooting at an Augusta apartment complex Wednesday night.

Deputies say the victim, Xavier Lamar Robinson, was taken to the hospital by an unknown person. An ambulance was not called to the scene.

Richmond County Sheriff Richard Roundtree says Robinson was shot in the elbow.

Richmond County dispatchers say they were called to Augusta Manor apartments on the 3500 block of Mike Padgett Highway around 9:10 p.m. Wednesday.

Apartment residents told News 12 they saw four or five people running from building 13 at about the time they heard three gunshots go off.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has warrants against Ceon Tarrel Ulmer for aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Ulmer is a 25-year-old black male and goes by the name "Black." He's 5'6" tall and weighs 160 pounds. Ulmer is known to frequent the 1700 block of Jenkins Street.
