The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident where a robber made a hole in the back of a building to steal cigarettes.

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident where a robber made a hole in the back of a building to steal cigarettes.

This happened at Ethan Food Store on Monday, according to the sheriff's office. The hole in the back of the building was five feet wide and four feet high.

Numerous cartons of cigarettes were stolen, according to the sheriff's office.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the male pictured in the still photos.

Anyone with information leading to the positive identification of the male pictured, is asked to notify the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at 706-821-1080 or the Richmond County Criminal Investigation Division (Property Crimes Division) at 706-821-1020.
