RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- Next week, the Richmond County Board of Education is expected to approve and ratify Dr. Angela Pringle's superintendent contract.

That meeting is scheduled for Sept. 3. Pringle will then be sworn in on Sept. 4 at the Augusta Richmond County Judicial Center.

Pringle has accepted and signed the offer to be the next superintendent last weekend. She did negotiate two points in the contract.

The first being, she will keep her personal phone instead of using a county's phone however the county will pay the bill. The second, the school board will give her a 60 day notice if her employment status changes.
