Richmond County School Board discuss another make-up day proposal

RICHMOND COUNTY, GA (WRDW) - The Richmond County Board of Education calls a meeting to discuss another proposal on make-up days.

According to spokeswoman Dr. Carrol Rountree, Superintendent Dr. Frank Roberson plans on making another proposal on make-up days because of community concerns.

The current make up days are:

  • St. Patrick's Day, Monday March 17th
  • a Saturday, March 22nd and
  • Good Friday, April 18th.

The meeting is set for 4:00 tomorrow afternoon.

Students missed six days due to the ice storm last month.
