Richmond County Deputies arrested one man they say was involved in a burglary, but are still searching for the second suspect in the case.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Richmond County Deputies arrested one man they say was involved in a burglary, but are still searching for the second suspect in the case.

According to reports, deputies responded to an alarm at the C Mart Travel Center on Mike Padgett Highway around 1:40 a.m. Friday morning. No suspects were on scene at the time.

When the store owner arrived, deputies reviewed the surveillance tape and say two men were seen breaking into the store and then ran away when the alarm went off.

One of the suspects, 27-year-old Christopher Thomas Allen Jones, was arrested a few hours after the incident. Jones is charged with burglary in the 2nd degree and forced entry into a non-residence.

Deputies are still looking for the second suspect. If you have any information that could lead to his identification call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
