RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW)- The Richmond County Board of Education voted Monday evening not to renew Dr. Frank Roberson's contract as superintendent.

After hours in an executive session, the Board voted eight to one to open the search process for a new superintendent.

Dr. Roberson's contract is up Aug. 22, 2014. The Richmond County BOE will ask the Georgia School Board Association to start the search for his replacement.
