Richmond Co. working to identify gas station robber

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is working to identify the suspect in an armed robbery from Thursday night.

The cashier says a man entered the BP gas station at 2061 Gordon Highway armed with a handgun and forced her to open the register. After the robbery, the man ran off.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s, about 5'3" tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. The man has a goatee and was wearing a camouflage jacket with a hood and dark jeans.
