AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A family is recovering after they say bullets came flying through their front door Saturday morning.
Deputies say the victims were getting ready for bed when someone kicked in the front door of their Formosa Drive home and started shooting through the doorway.
According to a report, the victims, including a 4-year-old were hiding in the laundry room to protect themselves from the gunfire.
Deputies say they found multiple shell casings in and outside the home and saw several holes in the walls, doors, and furniture.
The report says the victims believe the shooting was related to a fight earlier that night between the 23rd Gang and the 600 Gang.
