Last nights storm did some damage around the area and some folks are preparing for more. Pamela James is used to picking up tree limbs and debris out of her yard. She said, "I feel like it's the same thing all over again minus the ice."
She's still trying to clean up from the ice storm damage in January, and wasn't expecting another round of damage to her house. Pamela said, "I didn't think there was anything left that was lose enough or weak enough to fall."
Her husband Jack Posey thought the same thing. That's why he was surprised to hear a big crash last night. Jack said, "Looking around here in my robe last night with a flash light and looked up and thought, uh-oh that's bad."
And they're not alone trees like this one can be seen all over the area. Chief Chad Hyler with the Belvedere Fire Department hasn't seen any severe damage in the area but they're prepared for more this week. He said, "We always try to be prepared we learned that a while ago, we were prepared for the ice storm and we're prepared for this one."
With more storms expected throughout the week, Jack and Pamela are trying to get ready for whatever else blows their way. Jack said, "Your always nervous but.. you can only do so much."
