RCSO looking for shooting suspect

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW)- Richmond County Deputies looking a suspect in a shooting incident on 12th St. Friday afternoon. One person was injured in the shooting.

Around 3:00 p.m., deputies responded to reports of six shots fired on 12th St. at Florence St.

The witnesses that called in the incident told deputies they did not see the shooter, but saw the victim, Kjuan Few, grab his leg and say he had been hit. The witnesses say, they say Few run north towards Mauge St.

The witnesses told deputies, they believe the shot came from an empty lot next to their home. They also showed deputies bullet holes in their car and fence.

While deputies where at the shooting location, Few was seen walking on 12th St. headed to Mauge St. He was taken to the hospital and was treated for a gunshot wound to his left leg.

Investigators do not have a suspect at this time and do not know what lead up to the shooting.
