AUGUSTA, GA (WRDW-TV) - The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is investigating who stole 200 pairs of women's underwear from the Augusta Mall.
According to an incident report, security tapes show a man walking into the Victoria's Secret store around 11:50 a.m. on Saturday.
The report states that the deputy reviewed the security tape and saw the man placing the underwear into a large shopping bag and walking out of the store without paying.
Investigators say the value of the underwear is $1,900.
A description of the suspect is limited, but authorities describe him as an African-American or Hispanic male wearing a white pullover shirt and jeans.
Authorities say he left without paying for the merchandise, valued at $1,900.
