GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW) -- Water is back in service in a part of Grovetown after crews fixed a water main break on Tuesday, Public Works Officials said.

Public Works crews turned the water off near Harlem-Grovetown Road and Adams Lane for several hours starting Tuesday morning.

Streets in the area were reopened at 4:15 p.m., Public Works Director Michael Woods said. Crews flushed the lines in the affected area around 3:30 p.m. today.

All schools in Grovetown that were briefly without water on Tuesday are back with fully operational water systems.
