AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Deputies were on scene Wednesday morning after a car hit a utility pole, causing power outages in the area.

It happened just before 4 a.m. on the 2200 block of Walden Drive.

Georgia Power is working to restore power for residents in the area. As of noon, 107 customers in the area were still without power.

The driver is said to be OK.
