Possible human skull found at North Augusta Recycling Center

NORTH AUGUSTA, Sc (WRDW) - North Augusta Public Safety is investigating a possible human skull found at the North Augusta Recycling Center.

Lieutenant Tim Thorton says the skull was found on a conveyor belt on Tuesday afternoon at the facility off Carolina Springs Road.

The skull will be sent for testing, but Public Safety tells News 12 they believe it is real.

Investigators also say the skull appears old and has spray paint on it.

No other bones or body parts have been found and North Augusta Public Safety does not suspect foul play at this point.
