AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A Pizza Hut employee was robbed at gunpoint while she was out delivering a pizza on Boy Scout Court around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim said she went to the apartment she was supposed to deliver the pizza to, but nobody would answer the door after repeated knocking. While she was knocking, she says a man walked up the stairs to the apartment above her and knocked on the door before walking past her and heading toward the back of the building. When the victim tried knocking on the apartment door again, she says the man came back and grabbed her by the hair, stuck a gun to her right ear and told her to give him everything in her pockets.

The victim pulled out her keys, cellphone and the $53 in cash she had on her and put it on the ground with the pizza. The robber took the pizza and money but told her to pick up her cellphone and keys and run.

She was able to grab her car keys and run to the front parking lot to find someone to call 911.

The robber ran away from the scene toward Lafayette Drive. He is described as a black male with short hair and is about 5'4" or 5'6". The victim says he was wearing a gray hoodie with red writing on the front, light blue jeans and black Polo boots. He has not been identified at this time.
