People on roads complicating emergency response

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- Officials say citizens need to stay home.

The Emergency Response Team say when you are out on the roads, it complicates the situation for the emergency response teams that are trying to keep their vehicles fueled and running emergency calls.

Patriot’s Park is open as a public shelter and National Guard resources are assisting with transport.

Just call 3-1-1 or 706-868-3375 to get on the transport list.

The following Roads are completely blocked due to trees and power lines down.

Again, please stay off the roads.

  • Green Ivy Ln @ Green Ivy Cir
  • 603 Gibbs Rd
  • 860 Pt Comfort Rd
  • Rocky Branch Ln
  • 4531 Shawnee Dr
  • Buckhead @ Woodland
  • Day Rd.
  • Clark Pointe @ Santa Anna Tr
  • Clark Pointe @ Short Leaf Tr
