AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- An Atlanta-based company is planning a $6 million renovation for The Partridge Inn.
NorthPointe Hospitality Management said the hotel has a great location, history and architectural charm. The company plans to update The Partridge Inn for the first time since 2006 and hopes to have it ready by next year's Masters.
"We're excited to be working with the partridge inn and to have the opportunity to bring this historic property back to its glory days," said Greg Winey, president of NorthPointe Hospitality, in a release.
During structural and cosmetic work, The PI Bar and Grill will temporarily operate on a new dining schedule, which will include only breakfast, dinner and Sunday Brunch.
“The Partridge Inn has always held a special place for me,” Partridge Inn Holdings, LLC’s managing partner, Rick Patton said. “I am so gratified to have the opportunity to return to the hotel and finish what we had hoped to complete in 2006. With both ownership and management responsibilities, we are vested in the success of The Partridge Inn and are here to see it through for the long run.”
