EDGEFIELD CO, S.C. (WRDW) -- Firefighters are cleaning up after an interior ceiling collapses at a nursing home.

Two sections were flooded when a water line burst causing the ceiling to cave in, Edgefield EMS said. Sixteen rooms were flooded and eight residents had to be relocated into other sections.

It happened at Trinity Mission Rehab Center just before noon Tuesday.

The nursing home is located across from the hospital at 226 W.A. Reel Drive in Edgefield.

No one was injured when the roof came crashing down. The EMA director said there is water damage to a part of the building.
