Part of New Ellenton under boil water advisory

NEW ELLENTON, S.C. (WRDW) -- One area in New Ellenton is under a boil advisory after a main line break, the Commission of Public Works in New Ellenton confirms.

The break is on Highway 19. Public Works is telling customers in the Dry Branch Road to Medwell Hill Road area to expect pressure loss.

The city tells customers to boil water for one minute before drinking or cooking for the next 48 hours or until further notice.
