Overturned sand truck causes problems on I-20 in Aiken County

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- Sand littered the interstate causing traffic delays in Aiken County this morning.

Aiken County dispatch said deputies and troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to I-20 westbound around 6 a.m.

Dispatch said sand and fuel spilled onto the roadway slowing traffic in that area for a few hours.

Troopers said that the driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt.
