The SCDOT says crews will start working on Tuesday morning at all of the sites, but will focus their efforts on repairing West Five Notch.

Initial report:

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- Two apartment complexes in North Augusta experienced flooding Sunday night as heavy rain swept through the area.

Residents of The Groves Apartments off Edgefield Road and the Willow Wick Apartments off Martintown Road were evacuated.

Luis Dominquez is like so many others who live in the Groves who are dealing with flooded apartments today.

"It's really bad, I've got water all over the apartment and all outside -- and there was no way you can walk out, and thank God, the water has gone out," Dominquez said.

Between the two apartment complexes, about 200 people had to evacuate after the rain.

For Dominquez, apartments and cars are replaceable.

"I'm happy my family, myself, we are safe. Just thank you, God," Dominquez said.

As the creek begins to recede to its normal level, the apartment complexes are beginning cleanup both on the property and in the apartments.
