AUGUSTA, Ga. -- It's Thanksgiving and that means time to eat. For those looking for a place to have a nice hot meal, here's a list of places in the area offering them for free.
Augusta Rescue Mission
526 Walker Street, Augusta, Ga.
Delivering hot meals to those in need and serving lunch at the mission from 11:30 a.m. until the food runs out.
Rosemont Heights Baptist Church
710 Stone Ave., Waynesboro, Ga.
Rosemont Community Outreach will serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal to those in need from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Graniteville Volunteer Fire Department
200 Main Street, Graniteville, S.C.
Working with Christ Ministries will be serving meals to the public from 11 a.m until 1 p.m. They will also take meals to the elderly.
The Alley
Aiken, S.C.
Public is invited to the 8th Annual One Table Event for a traditional Thanksgiving meal between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
