UPDATE: Head-on collision claims the life of Blackville man on birthday

BARNWELL COUNTY, S.C. -- Barnwell Police and South Carolina troopers are investigating a deadly crash that happened Sunday afternoon.
The coroner confirmed that 43-year-old Daniel Dunbar of Blackville died when his car collided with another vehicle.
The accident happened on Highway 3 near Gardenia Road just outside of the city limits of Blackville.
We're told a 36-year-old was airlifted to the hospital following the crash, but there is no word on that person's condition.
This is the third fatal accident in Barnwell County this year.
