UPDATE: Investigators looking for driver in hit-and-run

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- A man is in serious condition this morning after a driver hit him in Aiken County Monday night.

It happened on Augusta Road and Anthony Drive around 9:30 p.m. When police arrived, they found the man in the road with severe injuries.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is now looking for a white four-door sedan with damage to the lower right front.

Witnesses on the scene say the pedestrian walked the same route to the Kangaroo gas station for almost a decade.

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- South Carolina Highway Patrol is on the scene of a hit and run that left a pedestrian injured.

It happened on Augusta Road and Anthony Drive in Aiken County around 9:30 p.m.

Troopers say one person was hit while crossing the street taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Witness say a white car left the scene. Troopers said it was a four door vehicle.
