AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- A man is dead after a motorcycle accident in Aiken County Sunday night.
Investigators say 29-year-old Keith Charles Grubbs was speeding on Silver Bluff Road when he slammed into a truck that was attempting to turn left onto Herndon Dairy Road.
The witness report says Grubbs was driving more than 100 miles per hour.
Grubbs was taken to the Georgia Regents University Emergency Department but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Officers say alcohol is considered to be a contributing factor, along with Grubbs' speed.
Officers say Grubbs was riding with several other motorcyclists, but none of them were injured or involved in the crash.
