AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- A shot was fired outside the Bi-Lo on York Street in Aiken, according to Lt. Jake Mahoney with the Aiken Department of Public Safety.

Officers were called to the scene around 7 p.m. Thursday evening, Mahoney said. Witnesses told officers the suspect fired a shot at a man and then ran away. Officers believe the suspect did eventually leave the area in a car.

The victim was not hit by a bullet and had no injuries, Mahoney said.
