NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.---A North Augusta man will remain behind bars after pleading guilty to murder. 25-year-old Tyrone Wade was sentenced yesterday to 30 years in prison for shooting and killing Julius Walker in 2009.
Walker was found in his home on Samuels Street with several gunshot wounds.
Wade pleaded guilty to murder, burglary and weapons charges. Prosecutors say Wade admitted going into Walker's home with two other men. Those men are still awaiting trial in the case.
Walker's roommate says he heard shots, found Walker on the floor and saw three men running from the house.
