GRANITEVILLE, S.C. (WRDW) -- A Mother's Day party in Graniteville was interrupted when bullets started flying, according to a report.

Someone started firing on Laurel Avenue Sunday afternoon from a car, the report said. The bullets hit two people at the Mother's Day party who were later taken to the hospital.

Aiken County deputies said they found spent bullets on the floor of the home and outside once they arrived to the scene.

There was a shooting last Sunday at 155 Laurel Avenue at 2:41 a.m. Shots were fired at a 2000 Lincoln and no one was injured. The suspected drive-by vehicle from the May 4th shooting is a white car.

There's no description of the car from Sunday's shooting.

This shooting is not connected to the Laurel Street shootings near Paine College's campus.
