NADPS to conduct active shooter training at school

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW) -- The North Augusta Department of Public Safety will be hosing active shooter training on Wednesday and Thursday.

Training will happen at Mossy Creek Elementary from 3 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and 3 p.m. to midnight on Thursday.

Officers will also be training at the substation on West Five Notch Road.

Training will be conducted by the State Law Enforcement Division.

Students will not be at the school while training is ongoing.
