More than 200 jobs coming to Thomson

THOMSON, Ga. (WRDW) -- More than 200 jobs are headed to the city of Thomson along with a 208,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution center, the city confirmed.

Hollander Sleep Products, Inc. will building the center in Stone Business Park. Red Rock Developments will develop the project and expects to be completed in the first half of 2015.

"Creating employment opportunities and expanding the tax base of our county is good business. This sizeable investment is evidence that the company is growing and McDuffie’s County’s economy is improving as well," Riley Stamey, Development Authority Chairman said in a release.
