It's been almost two months since anyone has seen 26-year-old Angel Phelps. Her birthday was just this past Saturday, but no one has heard from her.

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -- Unwrapped Christmas gifts sit waiting on Angel Phelps' bed.
"It hurts so bad every time we go in there and see those presents," said Angel's mother, Janice Phelps.
The 26-year-old's room has been left untouched.
"She wouldn't have missed Christmas for the world. She loved Christmas," Janice said.
Janice says she last spoke to her daughter on the phone Nov 26. That was about seven weeks ago.
"I just keep saying 'I hope that each day that goes by, well maybe she'll come home today, maybe she'll call, maybe somebody will call and say they saw her," Janice said.
Angel is known to stay at other people's places, but Janice says Angel would always keep in touch.
"Not knowing anything is the worst," she said. "It's the worst, that's what is the hardest part through this whole thing, you know, not knowing anything."
It's been two months now, and hope is fading.
"We believe the worst has happened to Angel," Janice said. "No kind of evidence that she's alive, no one has seen her or talked with her or anything -- it's as if she vanished."
Cpt. Troy Elwell with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office said this case is "more significant than an average missing person's case."
Elwell knows Angel, too, as she has been in trouble before.
"As each day passes, our concern for Angel's well-being becomes more significant," he said. "At this point, two months away and no contact whatsoever, we are very concerned about her well-being."
Elwell says the Aiken County Sheriff's Office has received some leads in the case.
"With that being said, we've also had tips where we can locate Angel's remains," he said. "Those tips have not panned out either, thankfully."
Back at home, it's a matter of waiting for Janice. Waiting for answers and waiting for closure.
"Somebody knows even if it's just but one person, they know something, and they know who they are," she said..
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office asks if you know anything about Angel or believe you may have seen her to contact them. No information is too insignificant. There is a cash reward of up to $1,000.
