An 8-year-old boy is home safe after going missing for 8 hours.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- An 8-year-old boy has been found safe and unharmed after he went missing Friday night.

Investigators say Michael Mosqueta went missing from the Granite Hill Subdivision around 7 p.m. Friday. They say he was wearing a towel.

After an 8 hour search, the Mosqueta was found around 3:15 this morning unharmed.

Deputies are not releasing details on where the boy was located.
