AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Three military duffel bags full of military issue equipment was stolen from a car on 13th Street Thursday night.

According to a report, Jasmine Malkemus says she had packed all the equipment up and put it in the trunk of their car before going to sleep.

All the equipment was supposed to be turned in the next day. When they woke up the next morning, Malkemus says the bags were gone along with a couple bank cards and her daughter's social security card. The victim could not remember if she had locked her car the night before.

Deputies found no signs of forced entry to the car, but they did find two fingerprints. The Sheriff's Office says they are looking into it.
