UPDATE: Arrests made in meth lab found in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Arrests have been made after a probation officer found a meth lab in Augusta Friday morning, Richmond County narcotics investigators said.

The probation officer went to a home on New McDuffie Road to pick up an offender and found the meth lab.

Jeffery Wimberly, 30, will be charged with possession of meth, investigators said. Angelic Chance, 34, will be charged with possession of meth and the bench warrant.

Children and a disabled person were removed from the home, investigator said. Animal Control also removed dogs from the home.

County license and inspection office condemned the home.
