AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Two men now know how they'll pay for their crime of torching a home with a woman and her pets inside.

A Richmond County judge sentenced 23-year-old Justin Hall and 24-year-old Kyle Capps to eight years in prison earlier this week.

Hall and Capps pleaded guilty to arson and cruelty to animals. During their sentencing, both men blamed each other for starting the fire.

The crime happened on April 13 at the home on Cambridge Drive.

The woman was able to get out safely, but two of her dogs were killed. A third dog survived the fire.
