MARTINEZ, Ga. -- Martinez-Columbia Fire Rescue worked two side-by-side structure fires on Wymberly Drive Saturday.
Fire crews say the fire started in one of the modular units and the radiation caused it to spread to the other home.
No one was inside either of the homes at the time. Crews said the fire was an accident.
Crews say even after an hour, flames continued. No word on what caused the fire.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. They believe it was heat related.
Dispatch says they received the call around 7 p.m.
