AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Manager of Augusta Public Transit Michael Rosson has resigned, according to the city administrator.
Augusta Public Transit is run by the company Mobility Transit. Mobility Transit representatives say they are working to identify an interim manager and get this person in by the end of the week.
Routes and employees are not expected to be affected by the resignation.
They say they want to get a new interim manager in place by the end of the week so that administrative duties, such as distributing paychecks, are taken care of.
