Man wanted in Martinez for stealing 8 cases of beer

MARTINEZ, Ga. -- A man is wanted in Columbia County for allegedly stealing eight cases of beer from a Publix Saturday night.
The stolen beer, taken from the store on Furys Ferry Road, is valued at $168.
A store employee says the man put four cases of Bud Light and four cases of Budweiser in his cart and then left without paying.
The suspect is described as a white male between 45 and 50 years old who is 6 feet tall with a gray goatee.
The store plans on prosecuting.
