AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man accused of making terroristic threats.

Daniel Ortalaza is wanted in connection to two incidents for felony terroristic threats and acts, two counts of misdemeanor criminal trespass and misdemeanor simple battery.

In the first incident on Sunday, Ortalaza allegedly went to a home on Ulm Road and started knocking on the front door, asking for his girlfriend. His girlfriend told the victim not to open the door, and the victim told him to leave, which is when they say he got angry and started hitting and kicking the door. He allegedly yelled, "I will burn this mother f****** house down, and I don't care who is in the house."

Ortalaza left the scene before investigators arrived. When investigators got to the scene, they noticed the front door was bent and would not close properly.

The second incident happened on Tuesday at the same home. Ortalaza allegedly came to the home and started yelling for his girlfriend to come outside. The victims barricaded the front door as they say Ortalaza tried forcing his way in. Investigators say one of the victims shot two rounds -- one through the front door and another one through the wall -- to try to scare Ortalaza away. That's when Ortalaza allegedly forced the door open and punched one of the victims in the face and head.

Ortalaza is believed to be in the Hephzibah area.
