EVANS, Ga. (WRDW) -- A 15-year-old is in custody after being identified as a suspect in a Walmart theft, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office confirms.

Kelly Hutto, 25, said she put her phone down while stocking shelves when someone stole her cell phone. She told deputies she looking back at the surveillance camera footage and saw the man take her belonging.

Hutto told deputies the 15-year-old left the business in a burgundy Ford Crown Vic or Mercury Grand Marquis.
