AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A man is in the hospital after being shot twice in Augusta on Monday night, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office confirmed.
A 25-year-old was shot once in the abdomen and once in the leg shortly before 6:30 p.m., the Sheriff's Office said. The shooting seemed to have stemmed from an altercation between three men.
The two male suspects were last seen leaving in a burgundy Altima with chrome rims, the Sheriff's Office said. The shooting victim was taken to GRU with non life-threatening injuries.
