AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Richmond County deputies are trying to find the scene of a shooting after a victim was shot in his back.
Dispatchers say they got the call to 865 Reynolds Street in Augusta, but our reporter on the scene say investigators do not know where the actual shooting occurred.
After the victim was shot, he drove to Beamie's At the River restaurant where his girlfriend works. Investigators say they don't think he was shot while driving because there are no bullet holes on the front seat or windshield.
Deputies say he may have been shot in the Cherry Tree area or River Chase Apartments because they received calls about shots fired at both.
The victim was taken to GHS Medical Center.
