AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A trip home turned into a trip to the hospital for an Augusta man Friday night.
Officers say Jerry Strickland was leaving the bars on Broad Street in downtown Augusta when a man jumped him.
According to an incident report, the attacker took Strickland's jacket, wallet, and the $41 inside.
Strickland also suffered several cuts to his face and a stab wound to his left leg.
He was transported to the hospital. There are no suspects at this time.
