AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A man pled guilty to felony murder and armed robbery in Richmond County, court officials said.

Michael Brown, 31, was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences.

Richmond County investigators were called to the scene just off Deans Bridge and Willis Foreman roads in May 2012.

They found 33-year-old Kenyatta Moorehead with a gunshot to the knee. Walter Foster, 36, died from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Investigators say Foster and Brown went to Moorehead's home on Shari Street to allegedly buy illegal drugs. Foster and Brown are accused of robbing Moorehead at gunpoint, causing a physical altercation.
