HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW) -- Robert Taylor entered guilty pleas to homicide by vehicle in and serious injury by vehicle, the clerk of court said.
The Burke County man is responsible for the accident that killed his friend in 2012. He's now sentenced to 30 years-- the first 15 years in custody, the rest on probation.
Investigators say he was drinking when he slammed into a tree on McManus Road near Hephzibah.
Taylor and two passengers were severely injured and another passenger, 20-year-old Dustin Tyler, died in the wreck.
